Foodie Friday v.1

BYOB. These four letters have become quite common to us here in New Jersey. The initials stand for Bring Your Own Beverage and it applies to the fact that many New Jersey restaurants don't sell liquor. It can be an inconvience, but it's been a great way for Brian and I to save money and still enjoy some wine with dinner. This new option has prompted Brian and I to explore many of the unique eatteries around town. We also decided to create "Foodie Friday" on the blog to feature the new places we've visited or share a great recipe we've enjoyed.

This week's installment (written on Saturday since Friday flew by too fast) features Tre Famialia in downtown Haddonfield.

Menu: Michelle: Orecchiette alla Vodka-pasta tossed with sun-dried tomatoes, sweet sausage and a touch of vodka in a blush sauce. Brian: Sweet Potato Gnocchi with pulled pork & mixed green salad.
Rating 1-5 stars
  • Service: 3. Brian got his main entree before his salad. Too many specials that took our waiter about 5 min to read off.
  • Food: 5. Excellent food.
  • Ambience: 4. Tables were close together. Sat in a high traffic area that made it awkward when servers bumped into us.
  • Value: 4. Reasonable prices.
  • Overall rating: 4.5
