2010- A re-cap

After finally finding the time to get caught up on some friend's blogs, I became painfully aware that I was neglecting our own blog. I wanted to write about my day but I realize some context is needed. So instead of summarizing the last few weeks, I'll just summarize life and my favorites since the New Year:

• Experienced a series of heavy east coast blizzards that have resulted in about 65.5 inches of snow this season. (And we thought we were moving to escape snow...).
• After months of searching and waiting for a job, I received two job interviews back to back. Then those job interviews turned into two job offers the next week.
• I now am a Case Manager at Big Brothers Big Sisters!
• In the midst of joy and celebration our dear friend Dustin passed away suddenly in a snowmobiling accident. We flew to Chicago to be with Shanna and celebrated with friend's the incredible legacy he left behind.
• Made the decision to spend a week in Switzerland at the end of April to soak in the incredible beauty of the country and visit dear friends.
• For the first time in my life, asked my hair stylist to cut my hair a certain way and she actually made it happen. Bonus: She's Asian.
  
• Brian visited the chiropractor for the first time and now sits on an exercise ball to improve his posture.
• Celebrated the one year adoption anniversary of our baby Bella.
